APA Clinic:    An APA clinic, taught by Melissa Main, will be held on Saturday, June 9th and is open to EVERYONE from beginners, USPC members, non-USPC members and adults.  Clinic will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm cover everything from how to hold a racquet, introducing horses to equipment, rules of play and ending with coached chukkas.  Anyone participating in the clinic may also participate in the play-day/rally on Sunday.

Clinic Cost:   $50 per participant.

Play-day/Rally:    A Play-day with a Qualifying Rally will be held on Sunday June 10th and is open to EVERYONE from beginners, USPC members, non-USPC members and adults.  Overnight stalls with bedding available for $25.00 and hot pens will be allowed.

Teams:    3 riders, 1-2 stable managers  Individual entries gladly accepted for scramble teams.
USPC Horse-masters, APA, and non-USPC youth and adults welcome to enter.  Teams may be scrambled to allow for even matched teams at each level.

Divisions:    The following Divisions will be offered if participation allows:

Pre-Novice: D1-D2 and above, walk-trot, APA rating 0-1, E grade
Novice D-2 and above, skills similar to APA rating 1-2, D grade
Intermediate D-3 and above, skills similar to APA rating 2-4, C grade
Advanced— C-1 and above, skills similar to APA rating 4-5, A/B grade

2018 will be the first ever Polocrosse Rally in the ORUSPC Region. We strongly and emphatically encourage all USPC members to join us, regardless of skill or experience. Pre-Novice and Novice divisions will be appropriate for riders with little or no tournament playing experience. Familiarity with equipment and the rules of play are expected but will be covered in the clinic the day before the rally. We fully intend that this rally be a positive learning experience for players new to Polocrosse Competition.

Volunteers:    Two volunteers in addition to team chaperone requested.  One volunteer will be designated for HM.

Horse Management:     This is a one-day trailer rally but horses may be hauled-in early Friday or Saturday for the Saturday clinic. Ponies may be tied or stalled in trailer for day-rally or in available stalls if spending the night.  Tents or trailers may be used for tack/feed areas. Water for horses is available on site. Please clean up your manure and dump in designated location. Appropriate barn footwear is required at all times.

Awards:    Ribbons will be awarded to each division and to Pony Club Horse Management teams.

Food/Comfort:    Please plan to provide your members with food throughout the weekend.  Restaurants are close by in Wilsonville. Please leave your dogs at home.

Overnight Accomodations:   Dry Camping ($15), stalls ($25) or penning ($15) onsite for those traveling a distance. Contact organizer for information on hotels in Wilsonville.

USPC Championships:    American Polocrosse Association members (age 12-25) and adult PonyClub Horse-masters are invited to participate at the 2018 USPC Polocrosse Championships West, Donida Farm, 16600 SE 376th, Auburn WA, August 6-10, 2018

USPC Festival 2021

The week-long Pony Club Festival is held every three years at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. More than 3,000 Pony Club members, volunteers, and families participate in this special event. The National Championships are held the first three days. Two more days follow with mounted and unmounted clinics and workshops taught by Pony Club graduates, Olympians, and equine industry professionals. Throughout the week, participants, family, and visitors can shop at the Festival Trade Fair.
