C3 Test Results:
Congratulations to all our new C3 members! We are elated to have had a
100% pass ratio this season! Well done all candidates and organizers!

The
Oregon Region hosted a large C3 testing this weekend (9/10 - 9/11) at Nancy
McKnight's farm in Turner. There were 13 candidates in all, two came from
the Northwest Region and two came from the Big Sky region. I'm happy to say
that all Oregon candidates passed! This is the best pass rate the region has
had and is a tribute to both the regional prep requirements and to all the
dedication and hard work the candidates put in, both in and outside of pony
club. Congratulations to all!

Annie Mattos, VRS and DC of Noble Riders
for hosting the HB test this last weekend
in her home and barn. It was a project in
which she took great care and lots of time
preparing. It turned out fabulously.
Seemingly unstressful, at that! Our
congratulations to all who took part in
the test and certainly to those who
passed. Those who did not were close and
we hope will retest in the near future.

What
a wonderful week it was to spend with our
delightful members and parents. I wanted
to share with everyone what an awesome job
the Oregon Region did this past week
competing at the Pacific Coast
Championships-
The were 383 competitors throughout the
week-apparently the largest West Coast
Championships ever. There were members
from Alaska, Washington DC, Michigan,
Montana, California, Idaho, New Mexico,
Washington, Missouri, etc. Next year,
Woodside, California will be hosting West
Coast Championships. It sounds like the
same model of being able to enter multiple
disciplines will be used again. Please
encourage members to make their intent
known before each rally that they would
like to attempt qualification for
Championships.

sure to thank all of the adults that made
this happen for our youth. It was so nice
to get to know all of you and see you
support the Oregon Region.
